Apparently, some University of Missouri college students thought it might be a great idea to celebrate the school’s move to the Southeastern Conference with a classic music video.
These guys were the same folks who brought you a memorable rap video from early 2012 called, “We Are Missouri” which garnered over 500,000 hits on YouTube. This time around, the guys hung up their rap game and went for a country vibe with this song.
So, I guess you can sit back and relax while you listen to the docile tones of “Fifth Down” singing “SEC Bound” featuring senior Andrew Carter, junior Matt Roberts, and junior Tanner Brandell:
When asked about the reaction to this song in comparison to their previous hit, Brandell wasn’t sure how the general Internet public would receive it and also commented about the lack of change that his life underwent despite having an Internet viral hit:
”It’s hard to tell because the new one is completely different….I still get my sleep at night,” Brandell said.
