Jerry Jones went on KRLD radio in Dallas this morning and obviously, was asked about the controversial Seattle/Green Bay finish. Said Jones:
Jerry Jones on KRLD-FM: “I didn’t see that ending last night. I cut it off about halftime.” Said he got no calls about controversy. Riiight.
Of course nobody called him. Who wakes up a billionaire in the middle of the night with a ‘HOLY MOLY YOU GOTTA SEE THIS AMAZING CALL JER.’ (The guy who cleans his glasses, maybe?)
He’s an owner. He’s who Roger Goodell has to answer to. The commish works for the owners. You think Jones wants to dip into his deep oil pockets to pay refs a couple more bucks and their pension? Nope.
